Terms & Conditions

On booking your Soulshine Retreat you will need to approve our Terms & Conditions in order to confirm your holiday. Please note, bookings are not accepted for Soulshine Retreats without Client confirmation that they approve these Terms & Conditions and will be clearly highlighted as part of the booking process:


Guest Travel Insurance


WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU TAKE OUT FULL TRAVEL INSURANCE AT THE MOMENT YOU BOOK YOUR SOULSHINE RETREAT TO COVER YOUR PAYMENTS SHOULD YOU NEED TO CANCEL PLUS, FLIGHT CANCELLATION, DELAY AND CURTAILMENT, MEDICAL EXPENSES, WINTER SPORTS (IF RELEVANT) AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS.

Our priority is to keep you as safe & happy as possible throughout your Soulshine Retreat. Unfortunately we can’t always control everything and so it is a must to have travel insurance in place if you are going to join us on Soulshine Retreats. We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance from the moment of your holiday booking. This will protect you in the unfortunate case of something arising before you travel to your Soulshine Retreat to ensure that you are covered for any lost costs and flights. If travelling for a Soulshine Yoga Retreat, please also ensure that your insurance covers winter sports. You should also check with your doctor that you are sufficiently fit and healthy to undertake yoga classes and any other physical activity we have arranged or you may arrange during your holiday. Please check with your own doctor that you are adequately fit. If you experience any injury or discomfort during any activity organised for you, then you must stop immediately and advise your Soulshine Team accordingly.


Retreat Refund Policy

The following refund policy is as per the Terms & Conditions of our Retreat Bookings (see above):

Retreat Cancellations by the Client

If the client wishes to cancel their retreat, they must advise Soulshine Retreats in writing. Soulshine reserve the right to move the week to an alternative date. The 50% deposit is non-refundable. If a booking is cancelled less than 8 weeks or 56 days, 100% fee is kept. 

Date of Cancellation

  • Less than 8 weeks: 100% of the fee

  • More than 8 weeks: 50% of the fee

Once the retreat has begun, no refund or part refund or unused portion of the retreat will be repaid in the event of cancellation by you.

Bookings are for the stated period of the retreat. There are no refunds for an unused portion of the retreat. If the reason for cancellation is covered under the terms of your Insurance Policy, you may be able to make a claim on your insurance.

Cancellations by Soulshine Retreats

Soulshine Retreats will always endeavour to fulfil confirmed bookings however do reserve the right to cancel. If Soulshine cancels a booking prior to the commencement of the activity and / or services the Client will be offered an alternative date, or a full refund.

Workshop Refunds & Cancellations

  • A refund (minus a 10% + VAT admin fee) will be made for cancellations made more than 50 days before the start date. For cancellations less than 50 days before the course or workshop there will be no refunds or transfers unless:

  • the workshop is full and your place can be filled from a waiting list, or

  • you are sick/injured/pregnant and can provide a doctor’s note

  • In these cases we will refund the fee, minus a 20% + VAT admin fee. All clients are asked to agree to Soulshine terms and conditions upon booking a course or workshop

  • If a course or workshop is cancelled you will be offered either a cash refund or the option of being transferred to an alternative event. Once you have committed to a course or workshop, we recommend that you attend the scheduled number of sessions to get the most out of the programme.

  • We are unable to give refunds in the case of cancelled transport (trains, aeroplanes etc). Please ensure you take out relevant insurance to protect yourself against this.

  • Refunds are not possible to be made retrospectively. If we have not heard from you by 24 hours following the end of a workshop we will not be able to process any refunds.

  • We reserve the right to cancel a workshop for any reason. Whilst we would only do this in exceptional circumstances that mean we are unable to offer the workshop as advertised, or if there are insufficient numbers booked onto the workshop to make it viable for the teacher taking the workshop. Should this happen, we will notify you as soon as we have knowledge of the cancellation and will refund you the full £ (sterling) amount you have paid us in respect of the workshop. We will not be responsible for any additional expenses which you may have incurred in respect of the workshop, including travel, accommodation or exchange rate losses.
